Business Opportunities in Mobile Marketing: The You Tube Version

Hi! It’s been a while since I last posted here. Been very busy with my video training with my awesome, “soon to be client”, taking care of my baby plus there’s the problem of internet connection being very slow. Anyway, I had the chance to attend the webinar (free!) of Sir Jomar Hilario on How to Earn Money using YouTube and Facebook. Since it’s a learning webinar (that’s how great my mentor is!), we have the chance to try it ourselves and thus I decided to make a video of the Business Opportunities in Mobile Marketing, which of those of you who follow me here, I already posted as a Presentation using Slideshare. Until now, have not explored yet how to put together the slides in pixlr as a form of Infographics.

Anyway, I’ll do that soon and share it here. For now, I would like to share with you the output of the YouTube  Video I created through the webinar of Sir Jomar Hilario. Tutorial on this will also be posted soon.

How to Create QR Codes using Kaywa

The Evolving Virtual Assistant

Are you familiar with the image? Have you seen one of these in magazines? This is what you call a Quick Response (QR)  Code which is similar to barcode used by retailers to keep track of inventory. It originally came from Japan for their automotive industry. Presently, it has become more popular because of its fast readability and more storage capacity than the UPC barcodes.

In mobile marketing, it can be used for many purposes such as contact information and directions to your business, promotions, coupons and special offers, survey and feedback forms,  and provide details of products and services.

The image above is my very first QR Code for this blog site. I was so amazed of what I have done and made a tutorial on this. Check it below and start creating your own QR Codes.

I would like to share with you my very first infographics which talks about the business opportunities in mobile marketing. I still have to learn how to connect all the slides together using a free online tool suggested by HubSpot, called pixlr.

Google’s Top 20 Mobile Products (and How It Monetizes Them) [Infographic]

Another great article for mobile marketers.

Google is fast on its way to becoming a “mobile first” company—within a year mobile will become the primary way users access Google—writes Larry Kim of WordStream, citing information from three Google execs.

To determine how Google generates revenue from mobile, WordStream researched Google’s mobile product portfolio, graded the those products (basing the grades on quality, market adoption, value to users, value to marketers, originality, and other factors), and summed up the results in an infographic. Mobile Marketing

Late last year, I got hold of the December 2012 – January 2013 issue of the magazine, Entrepreneur Philippines, from my sister. It’s quite a while that I haven’t purchased its back issues. I love Entrepreneur magazine just as I love Kerygma. I collect both for the former gives me guides and tips on how to be my own boss while the latter is my source of inspiration in the spiritual aspect.

Anyway, the latest issue of Entrepreneur Philippines features the trending business opportunities in 2013. One of these is Mobile Communication. Just take a look at your Facebook wall, local newspapers, and television ads. A lot of different types of smartphones and tablets are now available in the market with very affordable prices compared to the previous years where only a few can avail.

According to Mashable, a new study shows that Mobile Web will rule by 2015. People are now spending more time then ever on their mobile phones and this is a great opportunity for businesses to reach consumers using Mobile Marketing. This is what keeps me restless nowadays. Why? Because I believe that this recent trend will greatly benefit FilipinoVirtual Assistants. That this is the right time to evolve as a Virtual Assistant.

Sir Jomar Hilario’s latest post on his website is in line with this. The uprising demands for Virtual Assistants worldwide just pushes me to be more up to date with the latest trends in technology and what necessary skills are needed to compete with this new 409170_10150589011303382_659798381_9122771_460388664_nwave of opportunity, which some say is unlimited.

This is where my new journey starts and I want you to journey with me and let us evolve together as Filipino Virtual Assistants. In the coming weeks, I will be posting topics on tools, programs and websites which are useful in Mobile Marketing.
