Are you familiar with the image? Have you seen one of these in magazines? This is what you call a Quick Response (QR)  Code which is similar to barcode used by retailers to keep track of inventory. It originally came from Japan for their automotive industry. Presently, it has become more popular because of its fast readability and more storage capacity than the UPC barcodes.

In mobile marketing, it can be used for many purposes such as contact information and directions to your business, promotions, coupons and special offers, survey and feedback forms,  and provide details of products and services.

Hi! I learned from HubSpot a new skill, which is, creating Infographics.  However, I am still a newbie and has so much to learn. I would like to share with you my very first infographics which talks about the business opportunities in mobile marketing. Google is fast on its way to becoming a “mobile first” company—within a year mobile will become the primary way users access Google—writes Larry Kim of WordStream, citing information from three Google execs.

To determine how Google generates revenue from mobile, WordStream researched Google’s mobile product portfolio, graded the those products (basing the grades on quality, market adoption, value to users, value to marketers, originality, and other factors), and summed up the results in an infographic.
